My party has got this very wrong. Instead of sending members a fundraising request after the two mega £m Reform donations, Labour should be telling me how they are going to legislate or regulate big money (& crypto money) out of politics. We are in government. There is a Bill to tack it. Just do it!

Last official meetings and events done as Streatham Wells councillor. An honour to chair my final planning committee; emotional to help my final resident at councillor surgery last Sat; and fittingly my final community meeting tonight - in Wells, for Streatham Business Improvement District Board.

Enjoyable afternoon joining several hundred thousand people at Together Alliance march. Celebrating the welcoming, hopeful, community-minded nation we are - not the hate-filled vision and fake-patriotism of Reform & the far right. Labour's leadership should stop pandering to the latter.

Solidarity & blessings to all celebrating Eid. Enjoyed seeing people in Streatham heading out excited for their celebrations ahead. The weather looks good for picnics on Streatham Common and in our other parks. May London continue to be a place where people of all faiths are, and feel, welcomed.

Delighted that Lambeth Council announced tonight they would be taking Streatham Green improvement project in-house and committed to its delivery. Comes after administrative & logistical challenges to original project; and a real threat grant funding would be lost. www.facebook.com/share/p/17qV...

Spent an hour this morning with Council's School Street Officer outside Julian's Primary School, Streatham - to see how Council could further support school's efforts to bus pupils to temporary site, and also mitigate disruption to local residents. Useful discussions with Head, inc on coach routes.

It started with 1 resident from Wavel Court coming to my surgery to complain about flytipping on Leigham Avenue. Now today that same resident joined Marianna & myself, and a group of neighbours from the street, in reclaiming that space for the community. Tnx also to Council's Freshview team.

You are being disingenuous. I already gave you an answer. Copied here. The main issue for me is the Council not giving residents a specific 2hr option in the consultation. I think the Council was wrong. However, I also think that using words like "imposing" re idea of a CPZ is incorrect too.

Streatham Wells CPZ will operate between 10am-4pm Monday to Friday. The Council's rationale for this time period is that it is "a better fit for addressing long stay parking, and to support the council’s climate targets" than shorter hours. Here is Council response to my question on timings:
