Someone made a free, first-person walkthrough of the house on Ash Tree Lane from HOUSE OF LEAVES. It's as haunting as you'd hope it would be... pazificateur69.github.io/ash-tree-lane/

Anyway... I feel like I missed an entire month so I'm getting my life back on track starting today. ✌️ I hope you all have been well.

My mother-in-law made it a whole 6 hours in the nursing home before she (we think purposely) fell and had to be brought back to the hospital. A narcissist with cognitive decline is on a whole different level.

I won't be playing Townfall or Control Resonant until things calm down. All month my mother-in-law has been in/out of the hospital due to her cognitive decline & neither me or my husband can give her the care she needs. Hopefully she will be moving into a facility next week because we are exhausted.

My fave cup of coffee right now: French press coffee, raw sugar packet, scoop of collagen, tiny bit of bourbon vanilla bean paste, sprinkle of royal cinnamon, splash of oat milk.

Ohhh, I'm really excited to see her stock photos. 🦇

Everything has been so stressful, but I caught the tail end of the Legend of Zelda direct this morning. The OoT remake looks amazing. When I played the game this is exactly how it looked in my 11 year old brain.

I don't want to go into a lot of detail, but since last Wednesday we've been back and fourth at the hospital with my mother-in-law. We are so exhausted, especially when the doctors are even left scratching their heads.

Yesterday was the last day of my Natsu-Mon playthrough for August. I got a lot more accomplished than expected but didn't fully finish my fish & bug encyclopedia. I think next year I will buy the DLC and play it again. Here's some lovely screenshots I took. #gaming #videogame #natsumon #natsu-mon

I kinda want to get a Hobonichi notebook, but I'm still using my little Muji for junk journaling. The Hiroko Kubota designs are so cute though.

My husband hurt his back skateboarding yesterday, so we're having a very quiet weekend of rest. Nurse Pat is taking a cat-nap break from her shift so it's my turn.

I had a really nice week staying away from scrolling a ton. It was a good mental reset, and I’m going to try to continue this moving forward. ✌️

Taking a little social media detox so I’ll be doing other things instead of scrolling and pacifying myself with a phone screen. See y'all in about a week.

I know similarities between SH2 and Paris, Texas have been discussed before, but I can't stop thinking about how much the scene where Jane is behind the one-way mirror immediately made me think of the Maria jail cell scene.

Crisis averted! Pat’s kibble she’s been eating for about 12 years changed and she didn’t want to eat it. Thankfully she likes one of the new ones I bought last night. It’s almost identical to the old one in flavor and shape so mixed with her fave wet food and toppers, she doesn’t mind.

My husband's mother has been an absolute handful this past week. Her narcissism has her coming up with ridiculous scenarios to justify her beliefs because she refuses to be wrong.

I have been wearing Odeur 53 from Comme des Garcons for a bit, and I love it so much. It's hard to describe the smell; It's like the absence of scent. It reminds me of laying in the hot sand on beach days or the way your hair smells after being in the wind.

With the new episode of The Glendale Archives premiering tonight, I wanted to make the peanut butter cookies from the April 2nd upload. It's just a standard 3 ingredient recipe, but I've been craving them since I watched the episode.
