Spent the last two evenings learning about Rob Delaney's son Henry and just basking in the joy and heartache of A HEART THAT WORKS. It's been a long time a book has reduced me to tears. I wish Delaney never had to write such a book, but I'm thankful he did.

This is fascinating. The original was meant to recapture the lightning in the bottle Tony Scott and Tom Cruise achieved with TOP GUN by cutting and pasting the story with different vehicles. It should’ve worked, but the 90s looked at that rehashed 80s bombast and said no thank you.

An attractive man kisses an attractive woman

I saw this movie some years ago and there was an attractive man who kisses an attractive woman in one scene and then in another scene they were arguing. The man had dark hair and was good-looking, like actor-handsome, if that makes sense, and the woman had blonde hair and was very pretty, like celeb-level gorgeous, if that makes sense. Im also pretty sure that the man said something like "I love you so much" to her after the kiss and she reciprocated with a similar "love you, too." They seemed like they could actually be in love, the kiss was so passionate, but maybe they were just good actors, and the fight seemed believable too, but i cant remember the actual context of the argument, just that they were really upset with each other, and there may have been crying, by one, or both, characters, but there may not have been, im not entirely sure. The movie seemed newish, but not too new, but also not too old, Id say it was made sometime between the 1990s and the 2010s and it was at least 5 years ago that I saw it. Im thinking the film was either PG or PG13 but it could have been rated R but I dont remember anything in it that would make it restricted, but then again I dont really remember much of it at all. It was definitely a romance/drama but also had comedic elements. Any help with this would be great! Thanks!

Here's where I am with the Stephen King library that I've been putting together for the last few years. The books have taken over an entire corner of my office and are organized by publication order (with some liberties here). At a glance, I have almost everything he's written in hardcover.

I've been thinking a lot about Blank Check's recent episode about THE MANDELORIAN AND GROGU, and how they repeatedly say that STAR WARS no longer meets the moment. I'd argue that SW never met the moment, that the movies were the moment themselves.
