I can see the mind as an informational entity, but logic and reason are only one dimension of information. My mind in particular is sharp at processing emotional information. This gets into the dark arts of my craft, things like McD's using yellow and red to make you feel hungry.

I'm really glad you asked! Aphantasiac people make my point even more clearly. I once sat down with a friend to listen to a music album all the way through. He has ADHD and aphantasia, so he stimmed by doodling "what he heard" throughout the experience. So folks like that definitely have inner eyes.

The machine's reality is only ever what is allowed by the representation of the world as words, sounds, and images; translated into binary, losing fidelity at every layer of compilation. It is at most a constrained digital model of consciousness, for I fundamentally do not think in 1 and 0.

It can be told to think of seemingly unrelated tokens but it will never spontaneously do so of its own volition. It can be trained to be spontaneous and only ever be as spontaneous as its training. No matter what we do to the machine, its concept of the world exists only in binary space.

I wanted to do a serious painting and record the whole drawing process, just to have an example for the youtube. It ended up taking over 10 hours, so I'll have to do multiple x16 speed edits to make it at all palatable to watch.
