update about Bas -- frustratingly, after thousands of dollars and lots of tests, they don't actually have a good answer for why he got so sick. just "maybe this, maybe that" we can't afford to do any more invasive tests, so we're just going to have to do our best for him while we have him.

If I tried to make a fundraiser to try to help pay back some of the debt we've incurred with vet stuff would anyone be able to help? or does anyone have any advice? the vet costs so much....I had to take out a loan....and there's still debt from ripley's stuff too...I just feel like I'm drowning...

they sent a picture of him, he looks like he's doing a lot better than yesterday, he looked so much worse yesterday they said he has maybe multiple problems, definitely early stage of kidney disease, but maybe also pancreatic problems, not sure yet, the gi panel won't come back for a few days

we're home from the vet, he is still there. they recommended keeping him overnight for monitoring and hydrating him. we've spent a lot of money we dont' really have only to be told they still don't really know what's wrong...I feel defeated and gutted

the current situation with Bas our cat - they made us pay 1500$ to do labs and give him hydration and an x-ray they tell me today that they got the test results and they don't know what's wrong with him they say i need to take him in to a 24/7 vet because it's the weekend
