The comic Chrysanthemum Under the Waves, by Maggie Umber, lying on a grey wood floor (ok, technically vinyl.) the title is melting across a metallic grey/black motifTwo-page spread from short story, “Chrysanthemum,” with black and white panels showing a couple in love (or in death)?Two-page spread of Maggie Unbwr’s comic adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s “The Tooth.” A woman sleeps on a bus; a hot cup of coffee sits on a counter Two page spread from Maggie Umber’s comic, “The Witch.” Black and white paintings of a horse drawn carriage approaching a castle.
