I just got my results back from my Swedish language placement exam, and turns out I'm doing better than I thought! Sweden offers free language courses for immigrants with 4 levels, and I've placed in the final level. Now I should be able to study and "graduate" in no time 🙏

If we continue to let out-of-touch executives make out-of-touch decisions, this industry is going to look unrecognizable fast. Say what you will about Phil Spencer, Sarah Bond, and Xbox in recent years, but they were clued into the gaming community, even as Microsoft pushed the current against them.

Looks like the Swedish govt is going to push to apply the new citizenship requirements retroactively to all applications in progress when the new rules go into effect. So basically a giant middle finger to the 5 years I've spent building my life here and all the hope I had to feel secure in my home

The Until Dawn movie was actually pretty good! I think it's the best case scenario for an adaptation that kept the spirit of the game. There's no way a direct retelling would've worked for many reasons Not sure I'd like it as much if I hadn't played the game though.

We had a macha tea time at a local Asian inspired restaurant today and it was so good! The milky oolong was my favorite and the Lucky Cat cake tasted just like eating sugar cookie dough (10/10) Turns out there's lots of cool stuff to do if you leave the house every now and then

I get accused of being AI a lot when it comes to player facing comms, but a lot of that boils down to being an AP student in hs, having a research heavy degree, and working in Corporate America with Enterprise clients for almost a decade before coming to games. (Tl;dr I'm old and boring)
