If anyone’s feeling some low level Sunday night gloom The Crime Is Mine on iPlayer is very entertaining. Sort of a French Knives Out with lovely clothes

Not enjoying this series of #celebritytraitors so far because of the feeling that Richard E Grant barely knows what’s going on. Uncomfortable to watch

Love my street - walked home last night to find a lady in a wheelchair & her small daughter with a complicated telescopic setup on the pavement outside their flat to look at Andromeda

Seeing someone talking about artists’ obedience, using all the correct words in their statements & proposals to be accepted, & it chimes with what I thought about writers for a long time too

Considering what a miserable experience it has been for a while just to visit the free exhibits at the British Museum - forced to queue through various portakabins & ramps & snapped at if bewildered by the chaotic system - I’m not surprised by this at all

Thinking about recent celebrity deaths for some reason & feeling sad I’ll never see a workplace comedy with Diane Keaton, Dolly Parton & Penelope Keith in it, what a dream team

Day starting with a giant mechanical grabber turning up unexpectedly & very delicately placing 2 massive bags of sand in our tiny front garden. Bringing out everyone’s inner 6 year old

what a strange coincidence that every woman has friends who have been sexually assaulted (and quite possibly has been herself) and no man seems to be friends with any rapists!

Garden disappearing. And a huge mound of a broken up concrete slab appearing 😧 Thanks, insane person in the past who tried to grow a garden in 3in of topsoil & flowerbeds on top of it

Watched 1st episode of the new Sharon Horgan programme but not sure I’ll go on with it. Just feels a bit too much of a miserable experience? Not sure I want that from a comedy these days

This has made my brain get stuck in some kind of buffering mode. They should put an @ sign right in the middle so it would also say CU at the pub, now THAT would be graphic design

Why on earth was Lisa Nandy given the culture secretary post again? Why did she accept it? Has anyone ever bothered to show less of an interest in the department she’s running? It’s ridiculous

Abandoned, dismissed and gaslighted: there is no excuse for the way ME sufferers have been betrayed | George Monbiot
Changes in guidance and science seem to have little impact on millions of devastated lives. It’s a social crisis playing out behind closed doors, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Can’t bring myself to watch 70Up, not sure why when I’ve watched all the preceding series. Maybe too much poignancy in seeing them start to grow old

I think it's absolutely mad that today there's a *national news story* about 400 oil platform workers losing their jobs, and the government being blamed. 25% of the UK TV industry lost their jobs in the last 4 years and we never hear a peep about it! Some jobs are 'real jobs' I guess.

Seems like the fact that families track each other’s every movement now must be having a psychological effect that we don’t really talk about enough?

Finally started watching Colin from Accounts & OK yes it is very funny. I started it when it came out & gave up on episode 1 & I swear it was a completely different programme?? How can that be? Have I changed that much since 2023. Or some kind of parallel universe

Sort of enjoy Ludwig but I don’t get why they seem to put no effort into the puzzles at all. If you’re doing a puzzle mystery the puzzle has to be clever even if it’s a comedy? Isn’t it the point? Dorothy L Sayers would have flung them out of the Detection Club for that ‘the seat did it’ one

I worked for the RNLI for 9 years, supporting the training of crew, lifeguards and staff. I met many crew volunteers, all of whom were far better human beings than the fascist thugs attacking them. Crew put their life on the line everytime they go to sea. Please support them rnli.org/support-us/g...

As someone who lives in a seaside town, & relies on RNLI volunteers to come & fish me out if I get swept away by the sea, the idea of them being targeted by far right wankers is beyond horrifying
