Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today. A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field. Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission. The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.

Been using the “resilience” language less and less. I’m happier with “adaptive capacity” language. But recently I’ve been looking back through notes over last 20 years and I wonder if the better language is “exaptive capacity” to describe how orgs should be acting/thinking. @snowded.bsky.social
