Spoke with the vet, recovery seems to be going well so far. Still not super hungry which is to be expected. We're gonna go and visit him in a little while. If we keep along this route, he'll be home tonight or tomorrow

Morning all. Vet said if we heard nothing through the night it was a good sign. We expect an update in the next couple hours. Really overwhelmed by the show of support from a buncha randos on Bluesky. I really am grateful. Make sure you squeeze your furs a little tighter today.

I've started a lunch group with some of my male students to try to build a network of positive, healthy masculinity and support. Yesterday we talked about consent and speaking up and intervening when your boys are doing heinous stuff. They understand if you teach them.
