On a side note, I already had a level of "I understand" when it comes to reusing assets for video games but after working my way through blender that feeling has amplified for me. I do NOT want to rig the same general humanoid shape when I know I've done it 5-10 times already.

The absolute biggest boon that learning 3D modelling has to give to a person who has taken up drawing before hand is that 3D modelling will FORCE you to learn how anatomy works in a 3D space. Way better than drawing ever could, this also includes how and where flesh/bones warp and bend.

For the collab we were given a very gracious 6 month period to work on it, the 2D one I worked on for 4 months and was exhausted by the end of that duration, started from scratch and I am already almost done after a month. I will probably be doing even more blender stuff after I'm done.(2/2)

I apologize for the dry period, I wanted to get this out there as it's likely going to continue, I've been more or less speedrunning learning Blender, the animated collab piece I mentioned in the past I decided to scrap and start anew, it was 2D now it's going to use 3D models in blender (1/2)

Made a handful of models over the last year or so, but they never got to the point of animating, so this is my first 3D model animation. It was a lot easier than I was making it out to be in my head. It's a bit stiff for my liking but I'll take the learning experience. #blender

Finally got around to beating Mina, got 100%. Fantastic game, worth the weight IMO. Might come back and play it again in 6-12 months and play it with harder modifiers. I hope they make a sequel some day.
