Fun fact, it's ok to not be perfect at things you like doing. Its ok to make mistakes, or to be content with your current abilities. Internet comments are often "you dont know what you're doing" and "man this sucks" but it's OKAY. You don't have to optimise and min max things you like doing.

I believe it's mentioned in one of the votann codexes that the hearthguard exo-armour can trace its designed lineage back to the saturnine armour. So it shouldn't be that surprising that they share a similar vibe :)

Something I shared on Facebook, the only place I've personally seen people justifying Trump's and RFK's Tylenol claims, and I felt compelled to say something. Figured I'd share here as well 💙

I don’t usually share about my mental health, but in light of some recent White House comments about autism, I feel like this is something personal I'd like to talk about.
In my twenties, I went through addiction and recovery. Since then I’ve spent years trying to understand myself better. I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and OCD, and after years of therapy, my therapist has told me he has “zero doubt” I’m on the spectrum, even though I’ve never gone through the full formal diagnostic process.
Whether or not I’d check every box doesn’t matter to me. What matters is that I relate deeply to much of the autistic experience, and learning about it has helped me find healthier ways to cope and communicate. That said, for many people who do experience enough distress or impairment, having a formal diagnosis can make a huge difference in getting the support and accommodations they need.
I’ve also seen firsthand how autism is overlooked, misunderstood, and stigmatized. Those misunderstandings make life harder than it needs to be. Autism isn’t a flaw to be fixed—it’s a variation, like being left-handed in a right-handed world. The world wasn’t designed with autistic people in mind, but that doesn’t make them broken—it just means things take some adapting.
That’s why it’s so harmful to see people with serious influence like Trump and RFK Jr. pushing the false claim that Tylenol during pregnancy causes autism. There is no scientific evidence for this. Worse, it unfairly places blame on expectant mothers while ignoring real and complex factors involved, like genetics. All it does is reinforce stigma against autistic people, people who deserve understanding and respect, not fear-mongering.

I've had a lovely week off filled with hobbying and quality time with my girlfriend, which has felt like such a long time in the best way. Back to work tomorrow and back to something like a routine! Here are some of the Sons of Horus I painted up in anticipation for 3rd edition. #warhammercommunity

Ashurhaddon the First Reaver and a Sons of Horus Herald. They are based to match the Cthonian deserts, the texture paint is still drying.

A Sons of Horus Arquitor Bombard, it's tracks covered with dried on desert sand.

A small detachment of Sons of Horus support squads flanking an Arquitor Bombard. They are accompanied by some of the Solar Auxila from the Cthonian Headhunters.

A squad of Sons of Horus Tactical marines still work in progress. They are lacking completed bases.

This was a brilliant day - Sisters of Eldar organised a Women in Warhammer meet up at Warhammer World and it was super friendly, lots going on and just NICE. My younger self was extra happy too.

In an attempt to distract myself from the pain of being a trans person in the UK at the moment, I cracked on with my Votann this weekend. Painted up the Yaegirs kill team and the Hearthguard who will soon accompany my Kahl #warhammercommunity
