told my friends in the gc that I loved them and that things have been looking up for me lately, then immediately got random heart palpitations that won't go away. jinxes are real and the universe wants to try and kill me to prove it.

the problem with these discord status prompts is I'd be answering a question no one else can see. and that sucks because they're usually pretty fun prompts. it's like if I tweeted the word "Minecraft" with no context.

really good feeling to come up with lyrics to a song while at work, get the chance to quickly record them on your phone, listen back on the way home and go "whoa this actually has a lot of potential... I need to make a full version of this"

Lyte @lytewav.cool · 24/09/2026

Look, no hate to the author, but this is such a non-issue it actually bugs me. Yeah, Sora can use a gun. Everyone can in battle royale. If it makes you feel any better, everyone is technically a hologram and they derezz when health reaches zero. They don't bleed out and die clutching their wounds.

And like, I publish covers and remixes of game music myself! I wanted to collaborate with GameChops someday, and I published a cover of Pigstep through Distrokid that performs pretty well, which gave me motivation to make more covers like it! But with these takedowns, is it even worth it to try?

100

Lyte @lytewav.cool · 16/09/2026

so it seems that gamechops, my favorite music label that publishes amazing covers of game music in a variety of genres I enjoy, is in deep trouble on a couple different fronts at once. not only is YouTube being YouTube and doing DMCA takedowns on a ton of works published under the label...

I guess it's normal for doctor's offices to show gambling ads on the waiting room TV now??

I came across a really cute #fanart of #Ralsei from #Deltarune and decided to practice more drawing using it as a reference pic. I think I'm getting better at this 😊 original artwork by Spaicy: x.com/Spaicy_Proje...

A pencil drawing of Ralsei from Deltarune, an anthropomorphic goat boy. One arm posed behind his back, he's waving at the viewer with a cute and joyful expression. He's leaning slightly to the left and putting his weight on one foot as his robe and scarf billow in the breeze.

the fact that fortnite only lets you customize sidekicks once per purchase was a truly evil decision

So one of the apps I can't install with my new privacy-focused OS is my bank app, which wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I can't even use the website for it without authenticating with the app. So I'm completely locked out without it. Guess I'm reinstalling stock android.

well i decided to practice drawing after a lovely artist friend gave me some encouragement, so here's a squishy little minecraft pig i keep on my desk. he was four dollars at a local con and he makes me smile :)

photo of a sketchbook with a drawing of a pig from minecraft. the drawing was made with a pen, so the shading is rather rough. atop the sketchbook sits a squishy toy minecraft pig for reference.

i was devastated when i looked up if skipping a song negatively affects it in my algorithm because apparently it DOES... and i'm like. THAT'S WHAT THE THUMBS DOWN BUTTON IS FOR. WTF

GrapheneOS is pretty cool ngl. minor issues here & there, due to Google being declawed and put in a little corner where it has nearly no control over my phone, so there's a couple apps i can't install (like.. Subway?? lol no clue why) but otherwise it's normal android but with extra privacy controls

Done. Got all my data transferred to better places. Search ➡️ DuckDuckGo Keep ➡️ Obsidian Drive/Photos ➡️ MEGA Gmail ➡️ Proton YouTube w/ ads ➡️ ReVanced📱 + uBlock Origin & SponsorBlock💻 and soon: Stock Android on Pixel 10 ➡️ GrapheneOS And I was always on team Firefox ❤️‍🔥

I've actually really enjoyed spending the evening installing extensions and hacks to make the free version of YouTube even more enjoyable than what Premium offered me, tbh. I'm also looking into total replacements for pretty much everything else right now. Email, note taking apps, cloud storage, etc

You killed iGoogle, and I did not leave you. You killed Play Music, and I did not leave you. You erased "Don't Be Evil", and I did not leave you. You killed Google Assistant. And I still did not leave you. But then you killed my YT Premium family plan, and when I tried to start anew, you said no. 👋

Not to simp for the corporation or anything but I'm personally not upset about there being no disk in the box. It would be a waste of materials. They're not going to fit the entire game on a single Blu-ray. Also I know 80 dollars stings but realistically, AAA games couldn't stay at 60 bucks forever.

cw: bigotry/murder of trans ppl The way that conservatives are reacting to the horrific murder of 19-year-old Juniper Blessing makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. Unfathomable levels of praise and joy for a murderer based purely on hatred of anyone who identifies outside their biological sex.

$Facebook screenshot showcasing a fraction of the 138 users who posted laugh reactions on just a single post mourning Juniper Blessing. the vast majority have male names.$
