I am not that surprised that more women quit academic publishing than men- this chimes with data showing fewer women get their papers published, grants funded if they lead them and that more women get pushed into support roles. We do need to do more to support and mentor female staff. 🧪

Horrid is the state of female healthcare in the USA. Physicians are routinely shafted, and in the case of the repeal of #Roe, those who get the least (OBGYNs) have the most at risk. So, hospitals leave them to battle alone, while cutting their pay. #medsky #obgyn #obgynsky
