I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like your own sickness or that of someone close to you is sadly a really good catalyst to reevaluate how high on your list of priorities taking care of your health is. Whoever needs to hear this, prioritize you and your family’s health over everything else.

Random thought: if you have health insurance that covers it, make sure you’re getting your annual physical and associated blood work done every year. Especially men, who are notorious about not seeing doctors regularly. Preventative medicine is the real MVP for taking care of your health.

"There's no small jobs, only small people." Volunteering has always been my passion. After my trial-by-fire experience preparing 2019 tax returns during lockdown, and returning as a preparer in 2021 and 2022, this year I served as a greeter for my fourth year volunteering with the IRS VITA program.

Do you have a favorite #rstats package? I know, with so many cool packages in the #R ecosystem it can be hard to narrow it down to one. Honestly, any package that makes the hard things easier rather than vice versa, is great in my book. One such package for me is {tidytuesdayR}.
