Saw #Backrooms. My theory (never stated in the movie so no spoiler) is that Parsons’ universe is a simulation and specifically a neural network. Beyond the obvious visual references, lots of allusions to recursive neural pathways and systems remembering without direct experience.

I really hate that backlash against the use of image AI is framed from a quality lens like “low quality AI slop.” That implies if you find it beautiful, then the morality changes. It’s the data theft and job displacement we should focus on imo. Poor quality is cringe not evil.
