Also, I want to highlight this part of the case for all the pilots and avgeeks out there. I’ve heard ICE is doing this with manifests from a number of sources, but this is, as far as I know, the first confirmation. Really shows the complicity of the pilot-in-command. This was an Omni flight.

In the latest court filing, ICE officials did not deny any of his claims, and appeared to confirm at least one of them, saying the charter flight's manifest—a printed receipt given to pilots listing all passengers and crew on a flight—
"served as the travel document."

They can call it trite or romanticized, but human-made art beats AI slop because it speaks to a lived experience and connects us. Technical skill is awesome, and I admire it, but that's just one dimension of appreciating art. But, tbf, I wouldn't expect AI art apologists to get that.

Here's an explanation that I've read: the survivor has just endured a violent, uncontrollable act. To witness other violent responses piles on — do they have to wonder about these people too. They want to regain control of their environment and sense that people can behave in a measured way.

You don't *have* to have custom assets on your stream or videosif you can't afford them. there is nothing wrong with using existing background screens, existing music, existing badges, etc on your content. the content is still uniquely yours even if you use stock bgm from YouTube studio.
