I always find it fascinating when technology gets worse. Just sent an email from my gmail account and got this warning that I did not attach anything although saying so. Very useful pop up that has saved me many times except this time it wasn't my words, it was from the email I replied to.

Apparently, King Harald‘s funeral on Wednesday is the largest security operation in Norwegian history. They will basically shut down the Oslo city center. Extremely good timing from my side to have a flight from Oslo on Wednesday morning with my train station being just in front of the royal palace.

I love nordic summer anyways, but now with the rest of Europe being struck by another heat wave, I value it even more. We spent this weekend in the mountains in best summer weather (20 degrees). But Oslo is also fantastic during summer: endless days and literally never hotter than 30 degrees

I’m 33 and I have a PhD and yesterday I asked my parents on FaceTime what the different symbols mean on a dryer and how to use it. (Turned out my parents didn’t know either so we agreed the dryer was weird and I ended up drying cloths in my hotel room)
