I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! If y'all are interested in reading a good graphic novel, I really recommend Drogune: Fortune's Lap. It has a wonderfully crafted world with loveable characters, and many cool and silly panels, that it will get you invested. I gotten myself a copy of it, and I was intrigued throughout and loved it.
