Block people who annoy you and be comfortable admitting that that’s what you’re doing and you have a right to it. Because the alternative is believing that you have to justify the block and the other person is a bad person. You’d have to stretch their misdeeds from annoyance to crime.

I think if you needed any more evidence that the cuts are shortsighted and focused on cutting as deep and as fast as possible with little regard for the future, this is pretty definitive. That engine felt like magic in some spots. A colossal waste of talent and resources.

We and @epic.org have proposed key amendments (below) to this bill to make it more workable. 📲If you’re in Massachusetts CALL IN! Let’s ensure the final version protects our rights. Use our call tool at StopOnlineIDChecks.org/MA !
The image features a soft lavender background with bold black and yellow text promoting legislative action regarding online safety for minors. At the top, it reads, "Call your lawmakers & tell them to vote YES on these amendments:" followed by three numbered points detailing specific amendments. Each amendment is highlighted with a colored line for emphasis. The points are structured to inform viewers about preventing addictive features in social media platforms, defining what constitutes a social media platform, and addressing loopholes that allow platforms to provide services to minors without proper age verification. An arrow pointing to the right directs viewers to visit a website, which is also noted at the top of the image. The image presents a campaign message urging viewers to contact their lawmakers regarding specific amendments. The background is a soft lavender color, and the focus is on the text, which is predominantly black with highlights in yellow for emphasis. The title reads, "Call your lawmakers & tell them to vote YES on these amendments:" followed by three numbered points detailing the amendments. Each point is preceded by a yellow bullet point, and there's a yellow arrow pointing to the right at the bottom. The points address topics related to the regulation of age signals, privacy and security issues concerning minors, and the prevention of deceptive design practices known as “dark patterns.” The layout is clean and structured, facilitating easy reading. The image presents a call-to-action for advocating specific legislative amendments related to social media and minors' data protection. The background is a light purple, providing a subtle contrast to the text. At the top, there is a heart icon in red, which may symbolize care or concern for the topic being addressed. The text urges individuals to contact their lawmakers and emphasizes the need to vote "YES" on the specific amendments. There are two bulleted points that outline the amendments:

The first amendment (#25) highlights the need for clarification on the definition of addictive social media feeds to give users more control over their content.
The second amendment (#29) discusses protections for minors' data, indicating the requirement for the Attorney General to address re-identification issues that may expose minors' personal information and create challenges for smaller companies.
At the bottom, a prominent button-like area encourages action, displaying the message "TAKE ACTION" in bold, yellow text against a dark background, followed by a phone number for contact.

Spent yesterday having big ol’ crash out but now it’s time to rebuild. Etsy banned my shop of 8+ years yesterday due to their crummy content moderation bots so I’m starting over with a new store! My shop was about a third of my income so shares are appreciated! 💖🙏 mittiepaul.myshopify.com
SHOP REOPENING SALE

Etsy’s AI based content moderation kept flagging all of my original art and merch so they banned my shop so I lost over 8 years of ratings and reviews and have to start my web storefront over from scratch.
YOU CAN NOW FIND ME AT
mittiepaul.myshopify.com

Shipping only to US and CAN at the moment, sorry! I wanted to wait until I had time to do inventory and take a bunch of new pictures of everything, but I found out I need to get thousands of dollars of dental work done this summer so I’m launching it a little bit early with the “best sellers” for now and will continue to add more in the coming weeks!
I have some new merch planned and in the works too!

If you were looking for anything in particular that’s not yet up on my shop please message me and I will add it as soon as I’m able!

Use Discount Code “TOOTHHURTY10” for 10% off your order!

We've opened dev alley applications for GaymeGasm 2027! With so many creators we love no longer on itch, we thought this was a lovely, albeit last minute, way to celebrate all their work🍋🍋🍋
GAYME GASM

Inspired by our Artist Alleys of Citrus Con’s post, we wanted to create an “dev alley” inspired experience to showcase indie devs! If you’ve attended a Citrus Con before this would be set up similar to the Artist Alley forum channel where each artist has a separate thread, and if you attended GaymeGasm last year this would be similar to the “Gayme Stop” channel where we featured sponsors last year.

Bottom of images features small cutout bits on the flier, each one with the text
