Eerder dit jaar brak mijn jongste zijn arm bij een val in een speeltuin en nu heeft de verzekeraar een vragenlijst gestuurd om te kijken of dit misschien iemand anders zijn schuld is en ze daar de kosten kunnen verhalen. Dit voelt niet als een nuttige inzet van hun fondsen, eerlijk gezegd.

I was at the All The Feelings tour yesterday, with Stars, Broken Social Scene and Metric. Three Canadian indie bands that have been friends and band members for like a bazillion years. I've been listening to them for 20+ years as well. Kind of insane! It was a beautiful evening.

Het is vandaag Wereld #Sepsis Dag. Sepsis is een ernstige, vaak dodelijke ziekte. Herken de symptomen. Elk uur eerder ingrijpen verbetert je overlevingskansen. Mijn dochter overkwam het toen ze 14 was. Een licht ontstoken teennagel. 7 jaar verder en nog iedere dag last van de gevolgen.
