Ah, uitgeverij Neon wordt binnenkort overspoeld met Christelijke en Nazi-scholen, zodat ze dit kunnen bewerkstelligen. Wat een fucking knurften.

Een interview met de directeur van de nieuwe Uitgeverij Neon, die gouden bergen voor het Onderwijsland belooft.

"Mag een school op basis van bijvoorbeeld levensovertuiging dan ook alle hoofdstukken over bijvoorbeeld homoseksualiteit, transgender personen, abortus of de Holocaust verwijderen?

"Ja, dat mag. We trekken de grens bij wat wettelijk niet is toegestaan. Hoofdstukken verwijderen mag, maar ze mogen bijvoorbeeld niet toevoegen dat bepaalde mensen mogen worden gedood."

En wat nou als de andere 126 schoolbesturen fel tegenstander zijn van bijvoorbeeld een abortusvrije en lhbti-vrije maar wettelijk toegestane editie? Uiteindelijk is Neon ook van hen.

A friend just reached out about a show I organised 20 years ago, and then found pictures of the one I organised 21 years ago. This is me.

A moved close-up of me, playing bass in the band Cameron. We played shows with Amen Ra in tiny squats, and I had no beard but I did have sideburns, and was wearing a bandana. I made choices, reader. Also, I think our singer, Bob, is lying on the floor, head first into the bass drum, because he didn't like seeing any audience. This was a fun year.
