One of my novel submissions went from number 96 in the queue to 54 within two weeks of my sub. A month later, it jumped from 54 to 3. It's been at 3 for feckin ages.

The way indie music is seen as 'cool' and indie films are seen as 'embracing the craft without selling out' while indie books are seen as 'didn't get trad published' gives me feelings. Really crunchy feelings. The snobbery makes zero sense and instantly tells me someone isn't worth listening to.
