We also call for boycotting Microsoft's gaming products, with the following options as tiers of engagement:

2. Boycott Candy Crush, Minecraft and Call of Duty - flagship videogame franchises owned by Microsoft.

HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ARE SAYING THE SAME THING - TIME HAS RETURNED
After CERN shut down the Large Hadron Collider on June 29 for a 4-year pause, identical posts suddenly started appearing: "the days feel long again, like they did in childhood," "yesterday felt like it lasted forever, "I went to bed at 9 PM and slept like a rock," everything around me has slowed down, and it feels amazing."
Some people say they're having vivid dreams again, others say smells have become richer, and that their anxiety disappeared for no apparent reason. Time has stopped "flying by" and seems to have returned to its old, calmer rhythm.
And this is where things get really interesting.
Conspiracy circles have long claimed that the collider doesn't just accelerate particles - it supposedly opens portals, shifts timelines, and creates "glitches" in reality (the Mandela Effect, accelerated time, the feeling that someone pressed fast-forward on our lives). While it was running - we were living in a slightly distorted flow. And now that it's been shut down everything seems to be returning to normal.

An r/Retconned post from 3 days ago titled “time starting to speed back up again?” which goes on to say “Anyone notice this? And it feels a lot faster than before too. It felt like time was slowing down after the whole cern being shut down temporarily. But today just flew on by.”

A comment thread from the previous post. One user says “I was literally just thinking about why does time feel so fast when they said it slowed down after the cern shutdown..”, then the OP responds “it definitely slowed down for a couple of weeks, but the last 48 hours have seem like they sped back up. They said the hydron collider isn't suppose to come back on till 2030. But who knows, for all we know they could be running tests in the meantime,” then a third poster replies “they are always running tests and there are more than one collider this is just the biggest known one. the brain gets affected by electro magnetic waves... which cern gives off alot of. theres TONS of other equipment that gives off these waves and they can shape how we think and feel ITS PROVEN just only with the affect of waves themselves of the human brain but not the amount the brain can handle... they just somehow have 0 public research on that topic??? anyways nikola tesla figured it out and hes dead...”

The funny thing is I have read books that kinda did this. Diane Duane’s Young Wizards YA series got “New Millennium” versions that pushed forward the back end of the series’ sliding timeline (e.g. the brand-new Apple II in book 3 got replaced with a MacBook) and made various other tweaks.

I've taken a while about this (originally it was going to happen last year) because, especially as regarded the first book, I wanted to take care not to fix what wasn't broken. These new editions are emphatically not rewrites. However, they do involve:
• The most important bit: adjustment of technology and background in the book(s) to reflect what's routinely been part of young readers' lives, starting in 2008
• Some minor editing of material that struck me while revising as clumsy or ineffective
• Some additional material (not vast amounts)
• Repair and reconstruction of what has for a long time been a very broken, inconsistent and frankly dysfunctional timeline

First Ascension 10 win in Slay the Spire 2, let's go! Cascade+ with Chemical X is real silly, especially when you've got 2 of them. Final fight got a little dicey because they both decided to hide at the bottom of my deck, but I pulled through even if I got down to single-digit health.

Went infinite in Slay the Spire 2 (again), killed the final boss in a single turn. I can see why they're rebalancing this character, because completely breaking the game like this is a fun sometimes-treat in roguelikes but you don't really want it to be this easy to pull off.

Ironclad fighting against Queen in Slay the Spire 2. Queen is at 10/400 HP on turn 1 and is being targeted by a Pommel Strike ("Deal 15 damage. Draw 2 cards.") to finish her off. Ironclad also currently has 77/80 HP and 43/3 energy, and every card remaining in the deck has been drawn except for 1 card in the discard.

I looked at the linked presentation and (a) the “of gamers” part of the claim is also pretty meaningless when multiple participants didn’t even consider themselves gamers, and (b) unless fractional responses were allowed that chart is fucked up, why are there 12 bars for responses from 0 to 10?

After advising Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign and early administration, Giuliani joined President Trump's personal legal team in April 2018, remaining on it during the 2020 presidential election. His activities as Trump's attorney have led to allegations that he engaged in corruption and profiteering. In 2019, Giuliani was a central figure in the Trump-Ukraine scandal. Following the 2020 election, he represented Trump in many lawsuits filed in attempts to overturn the election results, making false and debunked allegations about rigged voting machines, polling place fraud, and an international communist conspiracy.

Giuliani spoke at the rally preceding the January 6 United States Capitol attack, where he made false claims of voter fraud and called for "trial by combat". Later, he was also listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the federal prosecution of Trump's alleged attempts to overturn the election. In August 2023, he was indicted in the prosecution related to the 2020 election in Georgia, Later in 2023, Giuliani lost a $148-million defamation lawsuit for his false claims about two election workers in Georgia, and unsuccessfully attempted to declare bankruptcy; he later reached a settlement to pay damages awarded to the election workers. In April 2024, he was indicted on charges related to the 2020 election in Arizona. He was later disbarred in the state of New York in July, and in the District of Columbia in September.
