Im very close to finishing my mech sprite and transformation. ^-^ Im excited to share it with yall.

Lucie <3 @lucexluce.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Made some new progress on the mech and its transformation. Been working on the arms mainly and playing around with some effects i think look cool. Work on this project has admittedly slowed down as Ive also been working on a secret secondary project which has taken most of my time as of late ^_^

Finally got ahold of all 6 vol. Of sunny by taiyo matsumoto! This is my sixth series of manga ive got by him and i think i can definitvely say that Taiyo Matsumoto is absolutely my favorite mangaka of all time. Sunny was brilliant, contemplative, loving, and permeating with empty saddness and hope

A collection of Taiyo Matsumoto manga on a shelf, predominantly featuring vol. 1-6 of them manga series sunny

Ive been on and off attempting to grind out a 1cc in super puzzle fighter 2 turbo, but i normally lose are the 4-8th match. And almost always lose to akuma. Well today i booted it up after months of not playing the game and got all the way to akuma with 1 credit!? Like what just happened?

Lucie <3 @lucexluce.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Yep! And wow, thank you so much! That means a lot to me. The previous one was posted a while ago, and I hadnt done anything else until now. Looking to add a lot more to it as well..like the legs and maybe exploring shading which i have zero concept of atm. Lol

Lucie <3 @lucexluce.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I should say, since i have been posting my own pixel art and several accounts have followed me that use ai for their art: i DO NOT support anyone using ai to make your art and will block you. In my eyes, Its stealing from the hard work of others and showing yourself as artistically lazy.

Lucie <3 @lucexluce.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Working on something new. This is more just practice and learning how to actually art (my knowedge of art and drawing is very minimal) and its all a work in progress. But im pretty proud of what i have so far for my second ever sprite work.

Birds are fascinating creatures: Credit: Birds of Maine by Michael Deforge A hillarious and poiant comic strip series about birds who have left earth to live on the moon

A six panel comic strip, whoing two birds having a dialog with eachother

Bird 1: "There have been birds that have reached 70 or 80 years of age. There was a time on the moon when it was somewhat common."

Bird 2: "wild"

Bird 1: "Lunar medicine was advancing in such a way that average bird lifespans were getting longer and longer!

Bird 1 cont.: But then we collectively told bird doctors to, like knock it off"

Bird 2: "Oh? Like, to stop inventing and discovering medicine?"

Bird 1: No, Not at all. We just asked them to stop expanding our lifespans, and to worry about shit birds actually care about.

Bird 1 cont.: like treating mites, Baldness, salmonella, easing chronic pain, making you cum super hard. Birds now just live a regular amount.

Bird 2: 80 years... You'd run out of stuff to do at some point.

Queer fiction/horror at its finest. I really enjoyed this one! Honestly im not a huge horror fan generally but E.M. Carroll's work consistently draws me in and keeps me hooked. This one was no exception, they really knocked it out of the park.

Felt sour after all the discourse about AI translation, and wanted to go and do something positive as a mostly retired human translator. So I've decided to resume my dropped Wild ARMs 2 retranslation. Just familiarising myself with the workflow. (No, I'm not actually putting Yu-Gi-Oh references in)

A screenshot of Wild ARMs 2. Lilka is inside the Millennium Puzzle. Her dialogue is edited to read "A Millennium Puzzle! Just like in YuGiOh!"

Honestly im fucking tired of companies outsourcing remakes of absolute seminal and important classic games to shitty ass devlopers who use shit ai, love to cut corners, localize poorly, fix issues post release, and have zero understanding of what makes these games good in the first place.

A friend once told me that revenge is nessasary if you want to get even from those who slight you... I think thats bullshit. You gain nothing from getting even. And obsessing over revenge petty or not, only serves to deteroriate the person you are. Anyways, we arent friends anymore.

Suda 51 games arent for everyone. I dont think they ever will be. And i love that about his work. Still, it would be wonderful if it did hit for the general public. Suda please keep on blazing your own path as you have! Show'em what being punk as fuck really means!

youtu.be/CHcb7_MEDKQ?... Im so ready for Romeo is a dead man! Suda 51 has been a long time favorite game designer of mine so im feeling pretty safe about it. But also, as per suda 51 tradition, there will likely be a ton of people bouncing off it due to jank/weirdness. I hope not. But i know better.

Yes! Tho the fun thing about double is that its two different characters embodying one suit, so their pronouns would be quite litterally they/them Also the they/thems in question:

Image of the two main characters of Kamen Rider W...totally they/thems

Autistic meltdowns aren’t tantrums. They’re the bodymind saying “I can’t hold this anymore". They’re not moral failures. They’re overload. Pressure leaving the system. You don’t need punishment. You need safety.

In other news, Stay Inside's new record is out today and im super vibing with it. They definitely stepped away from the post hardcore sound that was featured heavily on their first lp, 'viewing', but make up for it in spades by upping the experimentation that was present in Ferried Away. Big fan

This game is awesome! although i am really really bad at it. Lol I think a lot of n64 games struggled with the jump to 3d. but honestly its totally part of their charm that most n64 games are a little jankie. Theres just something about that era of games for me. Other than nostalgia i guess lol
