Made some new progress on the mech and its transformation. Been working on the arms mainly and playing around with some effects i think look cool. Work on this project has admittedly slowed down as Ive also been working on a secret secondary project which has taken most of my time as of late ^_^

Finally got ahold of all 6 vol. Of sunny by taiyo matsumoto! This is my sixth series of manga ive got by him and i think i can definitvely say that Taiyo Matsumoto is absolutely my favorite mangaka of all time. Sunny was brilliant, contemplative, loving, and permeating with empty saddness and hope

A collection of Taiyo Matsumoto manga on a shelf, predominantly featuring vol. 1-6 of them manga series sunny

Birds are fascinating creatures: Credit: Birds of Maine by Michael Deforge A hillarious and poiant comic strip series about birds who have left earth to live on the moon

A six panel comic strip, whoing two birds having a dialog with eachother

Bird 1: "There have been birds that have reached 70 or 80 years of age. There was a time on the moon when it was somewhat common."

Bird 2: "wild"

Bird 1: "Lunar medicine was advancing in such a way that average bird lifespans were getting longer and longer!

Bird 1 cont.: But then we collectively told bird doctors to, like knock it off"

Bird 2: "Oh? Like, to stop inventing and discovering medicine?"

Bird 1: No, Not at all. We just asked them to stop expanding our lifespans, and to worry about shit birds actually care about.

Bird 1 cont.: like treating mites, Baldness, salmonella, easing chronic pain, making you cum super hard. Birds now just live a regular amount.

Bird 2: 80 years... You'd run out of stuff to do at some point.

Queer fiction/horror at its finest. I really enjoyed this one! Honestly im not a huge horror fan generally but E.M. Carroll's work consistently draws me in and keeps me hooked. This one was no exception, they really knocked it out of the park.

Yes! Tho the fun thing about double is that its two different characters embodying one suit, so their pronouns would be quite litterally they/them Also the they/thems in question:

I don't like advocating for anyone losing their job, but seriously what American hamburger were they smoking when designing that? The Japanese cover is already magnificent and didn't even need to be changed. Future releases for it are admittedly better, but still doesn't beat out the original

Okay, so last night I watched an absolutely beautiful Japanese Kaiju short film called Howl From Beyond the Fog. It's well worth watching if you like puppets, miniatures, and special effects. But I just want to say, whoever signed off on the western cover of the movie should straight up be fired.

Just watched the first episode of the new Gundam; Gquaaaax, and I'm already sold. It's cute and is just just a fun vibe to it. Great animation too. Surprised that they seem to be going for another female queer story so soon but also I'm so pumped about that. The themes seem pretty timely as well ^^
