Whoever thought it'd be smart to have a short activity timeout while simultaneously making the downloads slower than dial up… your mom's a ho. I have ~400 items to download, one click at a time, and each is taking between 2 and 20 minutes to process. The site logs you out after 5 minutes inactive.

My neighborhood is doing a Halloween block party. I'm thinking of doing Pokémon cards alongside the candy, but nervous the scalpers are more into it than kids. The idea is buy bulk and make 3 card mini-packs. Trick packs can be all energies and the kid can try again. Thoughts?

The flight I'm on from LAX is cursed. More pre-school children than adults, so we started the flight with what can only be described as daycare chaos as parents tried to wrangle toddlers and lap babies. Once in the air we were okay until about 3 hours in when there was a bout of naptime crankies…
