I haven't played Suikoden, but the team for the anime gained so much respect for me when they stayed how it was mandatory for everyone to play the game.

The most terrifying collaboration for Persona. Existing in a game that doesn't demean homosexuality.

Fantastic game, can't wait to check out the adaptation.

One year anniversary to Silent Hill f. A game that felt a tad bit too sanitized depicting the darkness of its subject matter, but deeply haunting, powerful, and moving all the same.

This is heartbreaking. Dear Flowers is one of my favorite yuri's in the past few years, so seeing it's not doing well makes me so bummed...

Caved and got the new ArcSys game. Protag is such a baddie

Only a few hours into Heaven Burns Red, but the protag is so unhinged I love her. Kaname Date if woman

Resident Evil was a blast! Doesn't make my top five video game movies, hell I don't think it's the best adaptation this year in general, but damn tons of fun. The ending of the movie saved it for me from being a movie I liked to one I loved.

A day late, but happy 30th anniversary to Persona!

With the recent Persona 4 Revival interview, at this point if Atlus just started out saying they were blatantly homophobic they'd have more respect from me than whatever the fuck the justifications they're offering in these interviews holy hell...

I suspect the ending of Goodbye Lara is going to be divisive, but I really fuck with it after sitting on it. Themes and such.

Martin @soysauceasian.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Atlus: Adding an optional confession scene to make Yosuke and Kanji bisexual is too much work so we didn't do it. Also Altus: Added a new social link to Persona 4 that will also likely have an optional hetslop romance route! Easy peasy!

I think this structure of game would be better if they were more linear, more cutscenes, and with less gameplay tbh.

Kinda tempted to bite the bullet and buy Fire Emblem just to see what happens in that first hour people have been losing their shit over.

Got the chance to talk with Hamaguchi and Endo on their vision for ending the FFVII remake project. Their excitement for what their team has put together was infections, and they were also eager to hear my critiques in the demo. 30 minutes flew by in an instant.

On one hand, yessss, Saburouta is such a talented artist and I'm happy she's handling Goodbye Lara. On the other hand, we're really gonna go from two Citrus+ chapters a year to a chapter every two years huh 💀

Got invited by Square to play FFVII Revelation during PAX West! There's a lot to love, but it's not without some minor nitpicks and a catastrophic issue that I hope gets tweaked for the final game. We've still got until April, so fingers crossed.

People's reactions to the latest ZZZ trailer are really funny because this is the same devs who had two girls kiss on screen before. Hoyo is not beating the racism and plagiarism allegations, but they've always been explicitly fruity.

Remember how you could romance Eikichi in Persona 2? That's right, just because Tatsuya was bisexual doesn't mean he could romance every single guy. Remember how you can romance Uehara in Persona 4? That's right, you can't romance every girl in Persona 4 either, so the Yosuke rebuttal is stupid.

With the P4 Yosuke not being bi in the remake news, might do a thread later in the day of media with homophobic characters that later come out as gay to cope. Huge bummer and missed potential...

Looking at VNDB, the writer wrote chapters 3-7, Hinae's route, and Nono's route in Chaos;Child. The artist who did the Emio logo created the concept of the game. Considering the how that logo made me cry at the end, I'm really optimistic we're in for some good shit. Begging for a Western release.
