This continues not to bode well for my Legacy Kollection items, about which this stupid company have remained suspiciously quiet whole directing everyone to look at Sonic and Shadow.

One of the scented candles at work has a scent called "Witch's Brew" and obviously there was only one way I could say it when I saw it. He just worms in there and never leaves.

Listen! Joining an e-fed as Max Caster to do the worst raps ever written. It'll be like my brain has diarrhoea and my fingers are shittin'. I'll include lines about assault and war to correctly emulate Max's edge. The other wrestlers will dismember me and throw my corpse in a hedge. Who's the best?

When are DC going to have a serious conversation about adding Freakazoid and his associated cast to main DC continuity? If we're accepting the Turtles and even Marvel characters exist in that world, a superhero Warner actually own should be very, very easy.

I know it's because there's a TV series coming out but wow oh wow am I ever bored of seeing the attempted rehabilitation of Harry Potter, particularly by kid-friendly companies when nobody under 35 cares about this wet shit of a franchise.

In the 1985 Doctor Who serial Vengeance on Varos, an authoritarian regime run by a weak man keeps the downtrodden population in line by broadcasting public executions to distract from the fact that it has tanked the economy through a combination of incompetence, arrogance and institutional cruelty.

I think for me 3/U3/Trilogy is the romantic ideal of Mortal Kombat, at least from a character stance. Stick that in II's backgrounds and you have perfection. Well, obviously, you can do that in Trilogy...

Technically speaking, this is the weakest version of UMK3. Technologically speaking, it is an absolute marvel they fit this beauty on a Mega Drive cartridge as well as they did.

It's exhausting seeing game conversation this deep into 2026 where people so confidently talk as if Atari and THQ Nordic are 1980s Atari and regular THQ. If I change my name to John Wayne, I'm not the famous cowboy film star, I'm a different guy named John Wayne.

Personally, I stayed out of it. I don't see the point of joining servers where there are so many people in there and it's impossible to read or hold a conversation. I do think it's a shame some people can't behave and saw this as an opportunity to go "tee hee we are so chaotic!"

Oh jeez. Oh no.

To be fair, I’m not doing so great with men. I told my most recent date that I was working on a novella. “Because you’re Mexican?” he asked. I asked what he meant. “Isn’t a novella a Mexican novel?” Before him was the guy who confessed over drinks that he didn’t “believe in Helen Keller,” because there was “no way she actually flew that plane.” I asked if he meant Amelia Earhart. “Who?” I slept with both of them.
