I get bogged down by details and I want to paint every little hair. A recent library borrow discussed the basics. This is me playing with Gouache while trying not to get mired down in every little detail. These aren't great. But they also are not bad for early gouache attempts. I don't hate them.

COMET COMET COMET COMET! We stopped at a field and could spot the comet 2023 A3 by eye. Through binocs the tail was easily 10° long. Incredible. This pic was using my phone.
