Exactly 8/ I would understand them being upset if someone else decided to run another comic fair in October that was then directly competing but otherwise, more exposure for more artists and more community awareness is only good???

Petition for there to be multiple events like Shortbox each year. I don't have a dog in this race, we can't apply with anything Per Aspera-y since it's a collaborative work, but so many brilliant artists don't get a spot and as a comic enjoyer, I wish there were more regular opportunities out there.

My yearly sigh of relief everytime i get the shortbox rejection email, cause its usually sent at the time im the most locked in for crocomplex comic and could probably not draw anything else

Creators put a piece of themselves in everything they make. Sometimes, when you finish that paragraph, that inking, that sculpt- sometimes you can see that little reflection, that piece you didn't even realize was going in. And sometimes that piece was a wound that never healed. Short answer: yeah!

Do u writers ever write a character so relatable to you that you just occassionally breakdown full tears in the writing process or is that just me

Twitter is just slowly becoming a safe space for racists and bigots and its so scary?

Man being an artist really just means youll be spending thousands of hours staring at your own work and i think not a lot of people realize how intimate that is (sorry for the cheesy pilled 6am posting but god i love human creation)
