AI‑hallucinated cases were bad enough. Now we’re seeing hallucinated witnesses and testimony. A New Mexico lawyer admitted ChatGPT wrote his briefs—complete with invented people, facts, and citations—and he didn’t verify any of it.

When climate scientists say things are going to be horrendous, people find out many years later that we’re right. With this El Niño, the “find out” part will come in months.

2A as self-defence against tyrannical government has always struck me as ludicrous unless it encompasses the right of citizens to buy attack helicopters, rocket launchers or SAWs (for example). 2A as "self-defence" against "black insurrection"? Now we're getting to the real heart of the matter.

And yet I was only allowed to access a 1955 B.Litt. thesis, the only lengthy study on Robert Braybrooke, in person and take notes (no photos). I had to sign a register of those who had ever accessed the thesis.

This kind of report should be accompanied by a press conference—not with some low-level bureaucrat, but with the prime minister. Flanked by all of his ministers. In prime time, with technical briefings. This report says we're facing unimaginable disaster, yet we didn't even get a briefing.
