AI‑hallucinated cases were bad enough. Now we’re seeing hallucinated witnesses and testimony. A New Mexico lawyer admitted ChatGPT wrote his briefs—complete with invented people, facts, and citations—and he didn’t verify any of it.

Eligible dependant credit dispute - In income tax appeal, TCC held that alleged oral “support in kind” arrangement did not end appellant’s legal obligation under a consent support order. As such, s.118(5) barred the eligible dependant credit. www.canlii.org/en/ca/tcc/do...
