My niece Lucy released her composition (lyrics, melody, chords), singing & playing keys. Her band is 'Luce Unit'. Thursdays being my happy giving night in a Sufi way, I've nibbled a date and am sharing her sweet song: #indiemusic #acousticsong #Australiansinger: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ju_...

I sense an increase of bots & trolls. Signs include excessive impersonal content, reposts with minimal input, unnatural consistency (targeting a demographic), angry rants (even if I agree!) & clickbait. Time to cull. Life is not a silo, and I'm not here for box-ticking. #cybersafety #blue #democracy

Two of our rescued indoor cats are lounging on ledges. On the other side of this wall, two others are sleeping aloft in balconies atop bookcases. Welcome to the den of fairy lions! Their only outdoor spaces are enclosed playgrounds. #Cats #Catledges #CatPics #IndoorCats #MultipleCatHouseholds

Did u know? It's the simplest & most overlooked flowers that support the most wildlife. Take a look at Plantains. These 2 are Ribwort & Hoary Plantain. Fab food for pollinators, especially moths. Ribwort looks like it has the rings of Saturn on it & Hoary looks as fluffy & pink as candyfloss.🌿🌱🇬🇧🌱🪲🌍

Whilst I don't think Australians can sign this, if you're American, you can! Especially if you care about democracy & rule of law. Melody spoke on this at today's Zoom with Glenn Kirschner (Justice Matters). I'm glad to have attended. Jasmine Crockett is a distinguished lawyer and politician.

if you can just destroy any and all natural inclination to empathy, it's easy to become powerful and rich, which is all that matters. Empathy allows your feelings to be manipulated by things like "justice", so if you can just purge that from your worldview you too can be an unstoppable psycopath

Because the first question shifts the blame to the desperate, making their morality the focus, while the second question demands accountability from the powerful. It's easier to question survival than to challenge greed.

The flash of a Wren in the hedgerow, feeling the warmth in a ray of sunshine, spotting your first butterfly of the year... What's one small joy you've noticed this week? 💚 #ThoughtfulThursday

A Blue Tit sits in a moss-lined bird bath, its yellow and blue plumage soaked and fluffed up from an enthusiastic splash. Droplets of water scatter into the air, catching the light like tiny stars...capturing a moment of pure joy in nature.
