It took me a while to find this still from the 1985 BBC “Alice In Wonderland.” This was my favorite to watch on Betamax as a kid. This particular scene stayed with me forever. When I first arrived in Galicia, I don’t know why it reminded me of this. It shares the same liminality and magic.

For sure I don’t have this perfectly down, but one of the biggest things I’ve been working on esp this past year — as I’m in that age now where my body is starting to change and I’ve been feeling it’s effects — is self-regulating my nervous system. Real, positive life changes truly start there.
