Rent is paid for October, but I still haven't heard from my sister and I am worried. I am also beginning to panic over November (and beyond) rent. Where do completely exhausted people look for jobs? Actual jobs that are actually hiring people whose resume won't make it past algorithms.

I can't afford to support myself. I haven't been able to for years. Every month I go completely insane when I have to ask my sister for another $800 each month. When I can't reach her on the phone I spiral. Every month. I am so very tired.

Book 221: Victorian Psycho - Virginia Feito 🎧🚺🔪☠️💙📚🩸🖋️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A delightfully twisted trifle that dark-hearted readers will devour and adore. A 5⭐️ book review for “Victorian Psycho” by Virginia Feito from LiteraryLollapalooza.blogspot.com:

“A delightfully twisted trifle that dark-hearted readers will devour and adore. Soon to be what’s sure to be an unhinged film from author Feito and director Zachary Wigon, the book is an hysterically deadpan horror comedy with a strong (if insane or possessed, or both) female main character with a deliciously skewed pov. Winifred “Fred is the name of the Demon that lives inside me” Notty (naughty?) is a governess from Hell. Maybe literally. I howled with laughter while reading this brilliant, bloody, bonkers book from Virginia Feito. Out now from Liveright & Recorded Books.”

In 2012 I was staged at the Pride parade with Gothic Pride Seattle. It is hot, and a guy in a fur coat is very excited, jumping around, and greeting everyone. I have no idea who he is but let him give me a big hug anyway. I was told he is Macklemore. Heh! He cancelled Ed Sheeran - well done!

I agree. And I believe the second amendment was to ensure slave patrols could exist and be armed. I read an interesting article once that illustrated "to bear arms" was a well understood idiom of the 18th century that meant to belong to a milita or armed patrol.
