I think about MINDHUNTER about once a week. A final season would actually work with this major hiatus and characters aging. BTK wasn't caught until 2005. Start S03 in 1999 and work up to it. @netflix.com , please just give Fincher the money he needs!

A few weeks ago, I went on a hike with some friends in the mountains in Colorado. The weather was perfect, the lakes and trees were gorgeous and we even saw a moose.
As I took in the views and breathed the fresh air, I also appreciated what has made hiking possible: industrialization. Hiking is often seen as a natural activity, but there's nothing natural about it, and almost nobody did it before the industrial revolution.

Watching "Matilda" for the (yes) 17th time in the 2 weeks since I bought the DVD for my 6-yr-old son. He loves it, his favourite movie. Watching today, he says, "When I'm alive again, I want to be a robin like Matilda." I asked, he explained simply that she is a robin bird. Know what? Feels right.

I swear there's a kids story where a man warns a town of a beast in a cave but only HE can talk to it, keep it from destroying the village. He says the beast wants gifts: gold, silk, all the best food, or else. After the folk give everything, they enter & see the man has taken it all for himself.

The way indie music is seen as 'cool' and indie films are seen as 'embracing the craft without selling out' while indie books are seen as 'didn't get trad published' gives me feelings. Really crunchy feelings. The snobbery makes zero sense and instantly tells me someone isn't worth listening to.

Gave the reworked pages to my duo of First Readers (who have already read the whole book) and the both preferred the OG pages! I was making the narration more linear (based on a couple feedbacks) but one reader said: "the original is jazz; new one is soft-rock radio. Keep it jazzy." OK!
