just want to co-sign this. it's both a cheap and easy option to improve frozen pizza. The people suggesting pizza stones aren't listening to you about not being a foodie :)

i'm not falling for that ATLANTIC ARTICLE. that's clearly someone with a fetish for getting yelled at. i refuse to participate in that kind of perversion

Tweet was photoshopped to replace "hot take" with "ATLANTIC ARTICLE"

Just a note that this was my mother’s wok. I think she bought it from the one Chinese grocery store in Bloomington Indiana in the early 1980s. I’m glad to have it.

They’re just noodles
Noodles and vegetables in a walk. You can see broccoli, water, chestnuts, carrots, and red pepper. The noodles glisten like someone boil them, toss them in hot, sesame oil, coated them, and cornstarch, and added soy sauce and hoisin.

And by a current Cornell student: "This putrid treatment of women did not originate in this house. It is a culture created over years of “tradition,” and it is what fraternities are built to produce, no matter what we say about the usual exceptions to the rule."

Cornell, abolish your fraternities
The case surrounding the ‘Cornell 7′ is as lurid as it gets; whether or not these men face prosecution, it will not change the structural issue with Greek life

I have been saying this for years. "Drinking the Kool-Aid" sounds a lot less funny/pithy when you realize over 300 people who died there were under eighteen and 150 of them were ten years old and younger.

I know why I don't like my neck touched, and don't wear turtlenecks. But you don't, and there's no need for me to tell you why. I think some of it comes from RPGs, where people want to have some "reason" for the quirky thing they want their characters to do. Like my neck, I don't worry about it.

The Case Against the Trauma Plot
Fiction writers love it. Filmmakers can’t resist it. But does this trope deepen characters, or flatten them into a set of symptoms?

we're dealing with Killmonger Syndrome in all forms of fiction where every bad guy has a backstory that turns them into Who They Are but i feel like we need more villains who are assholes just because they enjoy being assholes.

fiction leans on origin stories and I don't think we need them and often stories actually narrow rather than expand by doing them.
