Same(ish). It gets very scary once you understand how much can go wrong, with every pregnancy. I only did it bc I trusted the medical system (here in Germany). And I also severely don't recommend attempting a pregnancy in places with no/bad medical help.

I wasn't that aware of this possibility back in 2019, last year when the world was ok. But I'm in Germany and I trusted that, should something be wrong with my pregnancy, we'd deal with it. Mine was fine, all's well. But I'm never willingly getting pregnant again.

Scammers will still scam through (to be prescribed sick leave), but more sick / infectious people will go to their workplaces bc it's too much bother to go to the doc for a 1 to 2 day feeling bad.

It's not quite as bad, yet, but like calling in sick per phone to the doc will be / is forbidden. And sick leave will have to be ordered by a doctor starting on day one (instead of day 3), and only in person. Meaning every stomach ache and mild influenza will crowd the waiting rooms.

That. Also the fact that no one else can live your life for you. My life is ordinary (and I like that!), and I prefer to do my tasks and my hobbies myself. And with the new health reform in Germany, they're opening new levels of hell here, so avoiding being sick is preferable (even more).

This year brought a second pair of Jehovah's witnesses to my door! I'll try my best to invite them inside for a cuppa bc I do have the most interesting conversations with them. They're so cute/bewildered by my paganistic stance and, with examples, why I don't like organized religion.
