I miss my friends. 🥺 Still without power, presumably projected to be restored Wednesday.

llimus.personal @llimusllimi.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

OK, mobo rgb & GPU peripherals light up, fans start spinning... nothing else at all seems to be drawing power, tho. Absolutely 0 display output. The fuck, man.

I HAD gotten the GPU lights on; no signal to any monitor through HDMI, no mobo lights on, case's CPU monitoring light turned on... ... but now nothing again.

llimus.personal @llimusllimi.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

only things I can think of are... - new psu doesn't work - new psu isn't properly plugged in (idk how not) - RAM shorted? it seems fine tho

llimus.personal @llimusllimi.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

realistically this isn't a big problem but I'm so tired of falling every time I try to make an improvement in my life, this just feels like another layer of bricks

I'm so tired of computers. New parts, cobble everything together, nothing. Nothing-nothing. I have no way to figure out what I'm doing wrong rn, neither. MAYBE I installed the case cables wrong but this mobo manual is dogshit...

I worry it's caused some grief and strain on relationships for me, honestly. I admit it's a point of bitterness for me with the rest of the folks at the table... but I don't know how to approach it for closure at this point.

my first & only PF2e game was brilliant but ended, realistically, bc I was the only player at the table willing to engage with the actual story the GM was putting forth and that feels. so shit.
