Apparently the CEO of Hoyo has stated that in the next couple years HoYoverse will “play one of the most pivotal roles in China’s LLM-AI” I straight up don’t know any other game developer making this much of a spectacle out of its AI use. I understand the cultural difference. It’s still alarming.

note that even if you opt your channel out, your chat messages will still be used to train twitch/amazon's generative AI models if you chat in someone's stream who hasn't opted out. my advice is to be annoying about asking. any streamer who's opted out will be glad to tell you so.

What channel content (clips, chat, metadata, etc.) is eligible to be used for generative AI training?

Your stream and the stream's chat, your VODs, your Clips, Highlights, and any text or images on your Channel may be used. If you chat on someone else's stream, their opt-out preferences govern if that chat can be used for training.

This bears repeating as many times as is needed. 💖 Every day is someone's "first time" encountering what might be a common scam, hack or con. The scams are good, they sound like reasonable requests or "Oops, I made a mistake" issues. They just need to slip past one level of doubt and that's all.

Streamers especially those in the LGBTQ+ community might want to preemptively ban monkadelix from your channels. They went into my Pride mental health chat stream just to be hateful and took the time to double down in an unban request. This person is also a streamer and will likely harass others 🙄
