Did this today... my gorgeous squirrel tattoo amid ivy and oak completes my left arm 🖤 I have a big thing for squirrels and acorns, and I love it so much! I was able to relax while he worked, and it's all good 🖤

I wouldn't have put anything that's happened in our life this year on our 2026 bingo card. It's a shit bingo card. Low grade prostate cancer is Vince's diagnosis today, after yesterday, we're reeling. At least it's the lowest grade and can just be monitored. Hugs to anyone who's been through this.

That was one scary evening. Vince had to go back into surgery in pain after his stent was put in, and I didn't hear anything for three hours. Turns out they found another small blockage, and now he has several stents! He's now in the Coronary Care Unit overnight, but should be home tomorrow ❤️

Despite unusually early morning for me, up at 6.30, the first day of September brought a welcome chill with it. September brings its own fragrance, a cool peek into and a sense of autumn. And I love it! My first hot coffee after a summer of iced lattes, and my boots are out! ☕️👢🍁🍂 Yay, Autumn 🧡

Next week is going to have a busy start... Vince goes in for his stent to be fitted on Tuesday, then gets his prostate biopsy results on Wednesday. Thankfully, he'll have the rest of the week off work. That's a lot to get our heads round.

Went to my father-in-law's funeral two days ago. This floral tribute is gorgeous 🤎 Robin was a man of integrity, gentleness, and quiet wisdom, and we all loved him so much. It was a shock to lose him so soon after losing his wife, but the service was truly beautiful.

Dad had another fall yesterday and called me in a panic because he couldn't feel his legs properly. We went up and checked him over, and he's not in a great way. His legs are very weak these days, as is his whole body and mind. He can stand and walk, but is bruised.

I feel so low and depressed right now. I don't want this to be my new normal. Life is so exhausting, and I'm missing writing so much. I can barely even hold a book open to read at the moment. And the heat isn't helping. I wonder if heat makes ME/CFS worse? 😔

Well, that was the best breakfast ever! Stopped in at Cafe Nero and picked up an Italian iced bun and a soya Caramel and Espresso iced coffee to go. Then back home, took my pills and supplements, a protein lemon meringue yoghurt, and sat reading my book with the bun and coffee. 1/9

Lexi and Flynn... ruling the house with chaos 🤣🐾

Flynn, rough collie cross German shepherd in the fore ground. He's big, very fluffy, with a bushy tail, brown body and white legs. So, Lexi just leaped off the sofa to land on and tackle Flynn in a half nelson! 🤣 Then Flynn chased Lexi to the sofa where she laid across it, out of his reach, while he attempted to hump the edge of the sofa... 😳 God! This is fun...
