If you’re a writer worried about competing with robots, the best thing you can do is lean into your voice and be brave. Let your freak flag fly. Be youuuuu. Robots made average prose free, but they can’t touch the long tails of the bell curve. Don’t waste money on a Genuine Human badge.

My 4yo daughter's new thing is to hold my face by the ears and growl "You're a terrible Daddy. You are not my favorite." before laughing and skipping away. Five minutes later she asks for a hug. This started a day after telling her she couldn't eat ice cream in the living room.

Trying a three person multi-player variant of Thousand Year Old Vampire as a letter/email writing game and struggling to figure out the right balance of structure versus letting it all go off the rails. Very fun though. Would be curious to hear tips from anyone else who has tried this.

It hurts my heart a little every time I come across a lit journal with really good work and no infrastructure for organic discoverability — coherent URL slugs, sitemaps, valid SSL certs, media cards. Social media as the only avenue of discovery is really fragile.
