If you’re a writer worried about competing with robots, the best thing you can do is lean into your voice and be brave. Let your freak flag fly. Be youuuuu. Robots made average prose free, but they can’t touch the long tails of the bell curve. Don’t waste money on a Genuine Human badge.

Tbh, I doubt many even bother to store anything. probly just pour inputs down the drain and charge folks for the “not-ai” sticker. I work in tech - all of it is way dumber than most people assume. just don‘t want to give people credit for having more of a plan than they have

Most of them don’t train on the inputs. They are lazier than that. They aren’t much better than magic 8 balls from a technical perspective - just another grift.

AI detectors are a grift. Their false positive rate is too high for them to be trustworthy. The end result is just people pointing fingers at one another and Another set of companies slurping up money. If you want to fight AI writing, put your energy into making unmistakably human work.
