The Vourdalak is a fascinating French take on the Vampire myth, a great expansion of Tolstoy's original story. Possibly needed to be less grim dark (the vampire is a Muppet essentially) but some harsh truths about toxic masculinity: it punches & brutalises you if you defy gender norms & wear dresses

WTF is ITV showing Star Trek Strange New Worlds in this graveyard slot for? Its the first time I've seen it by stumbling upon it accidentally; the plot seems OK but the dialogue is cringe inducing and the characters are all wrong. It feels very Picard 1 & 2 - that is not a compliment obviously.
