First reactions to Warhammer Tone Pro paints are starting to show up on YouTube, and, folks, it’s hard to quantify how excited I am about trying them out… I might have to think this “Contrast on everything” approach I’ve been operating under for years now.

Getting Photosynthesis on the table on a Friday night. Fun, pretty cozy game in my opinion. Pairs well with whiskey-gingers. #boardgames

Welp took a while but got one done. Instead of a polished steel look for the armor this time around I’m going for a rougher iron look, it’ll need some touching up but she’s mostly done

The pipe terrain pieces from the Necromunda Skirmish starter box are kind of awesome. Lots of little details on them, including bits that can add to the narrative in interesting ways. There’s a cogitator bank to hack, a few valves, places to add poison to an air supply, etc. Pretty fun to build!

Terrible lighting but I couldn’t help but snap a pic of my Escher gang as soon as I built them. I had so much fun with their modular nature, and I’m looking forward to watching them grow and change over time, too. Now to come up with their color scheme… #necromunda #escher

Finally getting a start on my Eschers from the Necromunda Skirmish launch box. I’m not entirely sure how to kit them out yet, so I’m just getting four of the bodies ready while I wait for the Underhive Crew box to arrive. I need to read up and make some decisions. #nerdlings #necromunda #escher

Remember those Pink Horrors I posted.. was it last week? Anyway, here's a better picture. The primary pinks and blues were done with oil paints. This was followed by acrylic paints and washes.

Three Warhammer Pink Horrors, just not from Games Workshop.

Lord of Hysteria, the Strut Master themself. Lovely model to paint, I think this is one of the best foot hero models like this that GW has done. The dynamic pose and the height of the model add a lot. Also he is basically a mainstay in my lists that this point.

Snagged the Lord of Hysteria early and painted it to match my old Hedonites of Slaanesh army, which was painted back when I could tolerate doing armies. Most of this was done during last week’s heatwave, which was appropriately tortuous for Slaanesh. #WarhammerCommunity #PaintingWarhammer
