My mom, my sister and I all following the same painting of a lighthouse tutorial in the same room…

Painting one is fuzzy and pink, painting two is a meticulously followed lighthouse with the lighthouse getting painted out for being too inevitably phallic, and a zany abstract reinterpretation of the lighthouse being a cabin under a sun made out of egg yolk.

I think Laura feeling desire and disgust for her is important and adaptations often eliminate the disgust. I want an adaptation that sees Queerness as a monster that pulls your true self out of you.
