yoshi-p please make 1.0 story accessible to modern players in some fashion so more people know that thancred has been getting mistaken for being ascilia/minfilia’s father since literally the day they met (also once again tapping the sign that says “he was seventeen and she was twelve at the time”)

A white-haired middle-aged Elezen man named Corguevais is kneeling over Ascilia, (aka Minfilia) a young girl dressed in yellow and black, who is laying on the ground, exhausted but uninjured after getting attacked out in the desert. Thancred is running up behind them, saying “It is quite a relief to see that she has arrived at last.”

Corguevais stands up and turns around to look at Thancred, and admonishes him, “Are you this girl’s father? How could you leave her alone in a place like this?!”

Thancred shoots back; “I did no more than show the girl how to find this camp, at her own request. I certainly could not have known she meant to undertake the journey on her own.”

Thancred goes on; “She divulged only that she was seeking out an enemy of her father's. Out of concern for her well-being, I set out to follow her.”
