Same. There is no German word for bedside manner and lately it really seems as if there's not only the word missing but for many doctors it's a totally foreign concept 😞 On the other hand we have Schadenfreude which says a lot

Possibly. It was one of those movies I used to catch parts of on tv as a teenager and because of Christian Slater, Ron Pearlman and Sean Connery (I know he's Scottish, but still 😂) I assumed it was American.

I recently rewatched this movie and I had never realized before that it was a French, Italian and West-German co-production. I had always assumed it was an American movie.

I hate stuff like this so much!! I also do not get the appeal at all. Things/situations like this would only be cool and funny and amazing if they were real. Otherwise, it's just one person pushing some buttons. And they're just doing it for engagement/money. UGH

😊 The path we walked is called Raised Bog Ghost path 🥰 and they had a few of these sculptures, mostly of traditional vocations related to bogs in the past. The name comes from mist ascending in the bog 👻

I feel like there's a cohort of us who got on the internet before "social media" and made all sorts of healthy friendships through forums or livejournal or what have you and thus, while everyone's like SOCIAL MEDIA FUELS COMPARISON AND MISERY we're like, but that's just where my friends live.
