if i was more comfortable with making videos i would consider doing one of my actual thoughts vis a vis wicked, but i'm not so maybe i'll write a tumblr post essay that no one will read and i won't get destroyed by the stans (or maybe they'll see how lame i am and leave me alone)

the way even among people who have serious critiques of the wicked movie i'm still in the minority about the performance of a certain pop star like genuinely is there something wrong with me

I do miss living in a city with several major shopping areas within like 20 mins max, it’s so nice to be able to run to the large specialty store after work

I swear to god, if people making little dance tutorials on TikTok or YouTube or whatever actually used the god damn counts instead of like the lyrics? We could move mountains.

My only note on Wicked would be that I wish they'd have stayed friends the whole way through. And maybe instead of a university they worked at a factory. And instead of studying magic they generate scream power by scaring children through door portals to help power the city of Monstropolis

got new ear pads for my headphones with actual fabric on the part that touches my skin, let's hope we can defeat contact dermatitis once and for all. the cooling gel is going to take some getting used to but this should be pretty good

I feel like people must have seen a different movie than me bc what do you mean the wicked movie made so many adaption changes it was almost exactly act 1 of the stage show down to the fucking blocking at times, just longerer

it's going to be sooooo funny if this experiment fails in literally 3 weeks because we had a freak rain storm in the middle of December and it floods my entire thing.

well. contrary to the internet's effusive praise, wicked did indeed have some flaws. i would not say it was the best movie musical since chicago that's a take not rooted in reality. i have giant question marks and concerns for part 2 bc i don't think act ii of wicked stands on its own at all

the moon and the waves 🌙🌊

An artwork depicting two women in a half embrace. One of them has brown skin and pale blue hair, wearing a moon shaped hair ornament. The other has pale skin and long blue hair shaped like rippling waves, the colors ranging from pale to dark blues. The background is dark blue with sprays of sea foam and stars.
